Change Management Deployment Leader
Job Overview:
As the Change Management Deployment Leader, you will oversee a significant transformation initiative in the Public Sector in KSA, directly managing deliverables with clients and leading a project team consisting of a Change Practitioner, Business Analyst, a Project Manager and Change Champions Network Leader. This role requires a strategic mindset, proficiency in various Project Management methodologies, and strong risk management skills to ensure the successful implementation of change initiatives. This role is crucial for ensuring that the organization navigates its transformation successfully, maximizing employee engagement and minimizing disruption during the transitions while effectively managing risks and leveraging Project Management methodologies.
Supervision:
The Change Management Deployment Leader will have direct supervisory responsibilities over the project team, ensuring that all team members are aligned with project goals and organizational objectives. This includes:
Team Oversight: Directly supervise and mentor the Change Practitioner, PM-CM Expert, Business Analyst, and Change Champion Network Manager, providing guidance and support to enhance their performance and professional development.
Performance Management: Conduct regular performance evaluations, set clear expectations, and provide constructive feedback to team members to foster a high-performance culture.
Resource Allocation: Manage team resources effectively, ensuring that tasks are appropriately assigned based on team members' strengths and project requirements.
Conflict Resolution: Address any team conflicts or challenges promptly and effectively, promoting a collaborative and a positive working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and Implement Change Management Strategies: Design and execute comprehensive Change Management plans that align with organizational objectives, maximizing employee adoption and minimizing resistance.
Project Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a cross-functional project team, ensuring collaboration and effective communication among team members, including the Change Practitioner, SME, Business Analyst, and Change Champion Network leader.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior executives and project teams, to ensure alignment and buy-in for change initiatives.
Conduct & Analyze Impact Assessments and Risk Analyses: Evaluate the potential effects of change initiatives on employees, customers, and the organization. Identify risks associated with change and develop mitigation strategies to address these risks proactively.
Utilize Project Management Methodologies: Apply appropriate Project Management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, PMBOK) to guide the planning and execution of change initiatives, ensuring that all aspects of the project are managed effectively.
Communication and Training: Develop and deliver communication plans and training programs to facilitate understanding and adoption of changes among employees and stakeholders.
Monitoring and Reporting: Track the progress of change initiatives using established metrics, reporting on effectiveness and areas needing improvement to senior leadership.
Manage Resistance to Change: Identify and address resistance to change, employing strategies to engage and support employees throughout the transition.
Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging feedback and adapting Change Management processes based on lessons learned.
Develop Contingency Plans: Work closely with senior leaders to establish contingency plans in case the change does not go as intended, ensuring that the organization is prepared for any challenges that may arise.
Technical Responsibilities Related to Culture Transformation:
Assess and Diagnose Organizational Culture: Conduct thorough assessments to understand the current organizational culture and identify areas that need to be transformed to support the desired change initiatives.
Design Culture Transformation Strategies: Develop and implement strategies to align organizational culture with the new vision and values, ensuring that the culture supports and reinforces the desired behaviors and mindsets.

Engage Leaders in Culture Transformation: Work closely with senior leaders to help them understand their role in shaping and modeling the desired organizational culture. Provide coaching and support to help leaders drive culture change effectively.
Familiarity with the Saudi Arabia: KSA business environment and cultural nuances experience is a must, enabling effective interaction with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Ability to Adapt: Adapt Change Management and culture transformation approaches to align with local cultural contexts and sensitivities.
Embed Culture Change in HR Practices: Collaborate with HR to ensure that culture change is embedded in various HR practices, such as recruitment, performance management, and learning and development, to reinforce the desired cultural norms and behaviors.
Monitor and Sustain Culture Change: Continuously monitor the progress of culture transformation, adjusting as needed. Ensure that the desired cultural changes are sustained over time and become ingrained in the organization's DNA.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Organizational Development, Change Management, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant certification is preferred.
Certifications: Prosci Change Management Certification is a must. Project Management Certification is an added advantage.
Experience:
Minimum of 8 years of experience in Change Management and Project Management, with a focus on large-scale transformation initiatives, preferably in a multinational and multi-cultural environment.
Recent work experience in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Experience in managing teams and direct client engagement is essential.
Proven track record of successfully leading culture transformation initiatives in complex organizations.

Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
Proficient in Change Management methodologies, Project Management frameworks, and culture transformation best practices.
Strong analytical skills for conducting impact assessments, risk analyses, and organizational culture assessments.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Cultural Competence:
Familiarity with the Saudi Arabia business environment and specific cultural nuances is a must, enabling effective interaction with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Ability to adapt Change Management and culture transformation approaches to align with local cultural contexts and sensitivities.
Communication & Organizational skills:
Native Arabic Language speaker with English language - both written and verbal proficiency.
Excellent active listening skills with ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences.
Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships and to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.
Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations with a propensity to persevere with resilience and tenacity.
Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics. Being forward-looking with a holistic approach to problem-solving and root cause identification skills.
