Change Champion Network Manager
Job Overview:
The Change Champion Network Manager will play a critical role in the successful implementation of change initiatives within the organization as part of a significant transformation effort in KSA. This position is responsible for building and managing a network of change champions who will advocate for and facilitate the adoption of change among employees. The Change Champion Network Manager will report directly to the Change Management Deployment Leader and work closely with the Change Management team to ensure effective communication, engagement, and support throughout the change process..
Supervision:
The Change Champion Network Manager will report to the Change Management Deployment Leader and will oversee the activities of change champions across the organization. While this role may not have direct supervisory responsibilities, the Change Champion Network Manager will:
Lead the Change Champion Network: Establish and maintain a network of change champions who will act as advocates for change within their respective teams and departments.
Provide Guidance and Support: Offer training, resources, and ongoing support to change champions, empowering them to effectively communicate and promote change initiatives.
Facilitate Collaboration: Encourage collaboration among change champions, ensuring they share best practices, insights, and feedback to enhance the overall effectiveness of the change effort.
Key Responsibilities:
Select, Recruit and Onboard Change Champions: Identify and recruit change champions from various departments and geographies, ensuring a diverse representation of employees who can influence their peers effectively.
Develop Training Programs: Create and implement training programs that equip change champions with the necessary skills and knowledge to support change initiatives and address employee concerns.
Communicate Change Initiatives: Work closely with the Change Management Deployment Leader to develop communication strategies that ensure change champions are well-informed about the objectives, benefits, and progress of change initiatives.
Monitor Engagement and Feedback: Track the engagement levels of change champions and gather feedback from employees regarding their experiences with the change process. Use this information to make necessary adjustments to strategies and initiatives.
Facilitate Two-Way Communication: Establish channels for two-way communication between change champions and the Change Management team, ensuring that employee concerns and suggestions are heard and addressed.
Recognize and Reward Contributions: Implement recognition programs to celebrate the efforts and successes of change champions, reinforcing their importance in the change process
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor his Change Champions Team ensuring collaboration and effective communication amongst all team members and respective appointed Change Champion Leaders.
Develop Contingency Plans: Work closely with Change Team and other senior leaders to establish contingency plans in case of network vacuum.
Technical Responsibilities Related to Culture Transformation:
Assess Cultural Readiness: Conduct assessments to evaluate the organization's readiness for change and identify cultural barriers that may impact the success of change initiatives.
Align Change Initiatives with Organizational Culture: Work with the Change Management Deployment Leader and Change Practitioner to ensure that change initiatives are aligned with the organization's values and culture, fostering acceptance and support among employees.
Facilitate Cultural Workshops: Organize workshops and focus groups that engage employees in discussions about the desired culture and how it relates to the change initiatives, gathering insights and input to inform strategies.
Embed Culture Change in Communication: Ensure that communications from change champions reflect the desired cultural values and behaviors, helping to reinforce the cultural transformation.
Monitor Cultural Transformation Progress: Track the effectiveness of culture transformation efforts and provide feedback to the Change Management Deployment Leader on the impact of change initiatives on organizational culture.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Organizational Development, Change Management, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant certification is preferred.
Certifications: Prosci Change Management Certification is a must. HR Certification is an added advantage.
Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Change Management and organizational development, with a focus on employee engagement and culture transformation initiatives preferably in a multinational and multi-cultural environment.
Recent work experience in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Experience in managing large change networks and direct client engagement is essential.
Skills:
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders.
Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with change champions and employees, fostering trust and collaboration.
Training and Facilitation: Experience in designing and delivering training programs and facilitating workshops that promote change initiatives.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze feedback and engagement data to inform strategies and improve Change Management efforts.
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple initiatives, track progress, and ensure effective implementation of change strategies.
Cultural Competence:
Familiarity with the Saudi Arabia business environment and specific cultural nuances is a must, enabling effective interaction with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Ability to adapt Change Management and culture transformation approaches to align with local cultural contexts and sensitivities.
Communication & Organizational skills:
Native Arabic Language speaker with English language - both written and verbal proficiency.
Excellent active listening skills with ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences.
Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships and to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.
Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations with a propensity to persevere with resilience and tenacity.
Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics. Being forward-looking with a holistic approach to problem-solving and root cause identification skills.
